We are a student-led chapter of AMSUS, serving the area of Houston, Texas. Our membership is open to any member in good standing with the National Association of Military Surgeons of the United States. Our members include Faculty of the Baylor College of Medicine, the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, the University of Texas Dental School, private physicians, residents, medical and dental students. Scheduled meetings, social events and community service activities are held throughout the year. The specific activity, location and time is published on our events web page which is accessible by the link on our Home Page. All meetings are held on a rotating basis at the affiliated institutions of the Texas Medical Center including: Baylor College of Medicine, The University of Texas-Houston Medical School, and the University of Texas Dental Branch. Although chapter membership is limited to AMSUS members, we welcome anyone interested in learning more about military medicine |
